Requirements

Project Submission Rules

  1. Projects that aren’t submitted to DevPost by February 21st by 9AM PST will NOT be judged.

  2. Your main submission will be a video of 3 minutes or less that must include all group members and their level of experience (beginner, intermediate, expert), and can cover anything you think will help show off your project. This can include your brainstorming process, code samples, final product, or more.

  3. Your submission has to specify which code was written before the event and during it and outline your creation process (your starting point, what you did during the event, challenges you faced, what you learned, etc). Judging will be relative to your starting point.

  4. Teams can present their projects at the showcase with a poster and live demo, and the top projects based off of video submissions will be visited by judges — be prepared to pitch your project and answer questions.

  5. You have the option to make a poster for the showcase which will be displayed for anyone to see. Alternatively, you can screenshare a presentation or demo. It should be enough for someone who has never seen your project before to get the general idea of what it is.
